The Patrina Foundation is presently concentrating its funding in the New York Metropolitan area and surrounding counties.
Grants are made exclusively to tax-exempt organizations, with the exception of private foundations. Grantees are primarily educational, cultural, and social service organizations which promote academic, artistic, athletic, and/or life skills and leadership abilities of girls and women.
The Foundation makes three (3) types of grants: 1) support a new or ongoing program, 2) seed money for start-ups or 3) one-time grants to solve a problem or build capacity. In certain situations, we will entertain a multi-year grant to follow a cohort of participants through a program. Please contact Kara D'Angelo email@example.com or 914-886-5390 to discuss.
Proposal Requirements : Proposals submitted to the Patrina Foundation online and by mail must include the following:
Proposals not meeting the above criteria will not be considered. Incomplete proposals will not be considered. Incomplete proposals include those without current financial statements. You must provide CURRENT financial statements with your proposal. (Current year budget and last two year's complete statements. They do not need to be audited.) You may only apply once in a twelve-month period.
